Day 1

Hot weather combined with some hot action on the track and in the field made for a great day out for Corroboree athletes.
One new club record in the U13 Female 100m. Lulu Marcelo ran 13.16s in the heats to break the old mark of 13.25s held by H. O’Neil since 2006. She then ran 13.27s which was still enough to come first in the final.

Day 2

Today was another great success in very hot conditions and congratulations to everyone who competed out there in the scorching heat.

We got another bucket load of medals and four club records.

Arthur Giason broke the Corroboree U10B 800m record that has been held since 1985 (38 years ago) by B. Wilson. Arthur ran 2.36.70s lowering the old mark of 2.37.60s

Jillian Ryan broke her 1500m walk record once again taking another 8 seconds off it recording 7.03.11s.

Emmanuel Allen bettered his Shot Put record set near the end of the season throwing 10.34m for gold, better than the 10.08m thrown earlier in the season.

Sebastian Ryan broke a one year old record set by Lachlan Stevens in the 1100m walk. Sebastian achieved 6.38.99s breaking the old mark of 6.43.01s, just missing gold in the event in the process.
