U10 Walk record smashed

Arthur Giason is really staring to show what is in store for this champion young athlete. He obliterated the old U10 1100m walk record last Saturday which used to belong to Joshua Marriott (set in 2019). The old mark was 6.50.71s which is very decent but Arthur put everything he had into the walk this week and came away with a 6.14.75s (35 seconds better).
It was lovely to see his sister Rachel egging him on from the sidelines as well giving him time differences to let him know he was on track. This is the second record Arthur has beaten this season after also smashing the Turbo Javelin record.
Congratulations Arthur, I feel this record may stand for quite a while!
